All orders are shipped from Canada using Canada Post. Orders are charged a shipping fee that is calculated during the online ordering process. This fee is dependant on the quantity and type of items purchased, the destination country, and the shipping method chosen.
Standard shipping method has an estimated delivery time of 4 to 15 business days, however please note that this is not guaranteed by Canada Post.
Express and Xpresspost shipping methods are guaranteed to be delivered in 3 to 6 business days between major centres in Canada and the U.S.A., and 4 to 7 business days for all other countries.
Shipments may be delayed by the postal service in Canada or the destination country and/or by Customs procedures, and/or other reasons beyond our control. Please note that the postal service is considerably slower during national holidays and the Christmas season and orders may easily be delayed by a week or more. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Return Policy
If you wish to obtain a refund or exchange, please contact customer service by email at info@itsadogslight.com within 14 days from purchase date.
If the light appears to be defective, we will ask you to return the light to us within 30 days from purchase date and we will either refund the purchase price (excluding shipping fees) to your credit card account that was used at the time of the purchase or exchange the light if you prefer.
If the light is not defective and you request a refund, you must return the light to us in re-saleable condition within 30 days from purchase date. Upon receipt of the returned light in re-saleable condition, we will refund the purchase price (excluding shipping fees) to your credit card account that was used at the time of the purchase.
A refund or exchange will not be issued if a returned light shows any sign of abuse, misuse, tampering, unauthorized repair, missing parts, missing batteries, battery damage or corrosion, water damage, damage to keyring or snaphook connector, or any damage whatsoever including being soiled or scratched.
We do not guarantee the strength or longevity of the pre-installed batteries in our lights. All efforts are made to ship the lights with fresh pre-installed batteries, although accidental powering on during shipping can occur which may shorten the battery life considerably. Therefore, we do not issue refunds or exchanges based on weak or dead batteries. Please see our Product Info page for details on battery replacement.
Any free promotional items such as collars, leashes, and additional lights included in the original purchase must also be returned before a refund will be issued.
Free promotional items such as collars and leashes are not covered by any warranty or guarantee for any reason whatsoever and we accept no liability for any damage, injury, or claim resulting from the use of our dog lights or any free promotional item.
